A natural host with something useful to say.
Jess has spent more than 20 years helping people become more confident managers and communicators. On stage, she brings the same thing she brings to a training room: warmth, candour, practical thinking and a genuine interest in the people in front of her.

People first, always.
Jess is a natural host, whether it is leading conferences or throwing gatherings for friends. She thrives on bringing people together and creating memorable experiences.
She founded JP Training in 2005 and has spent her career working with managers, teams and organisations across the public and private sectors. Her approach has always been rooted in real workplace behaviour rather than theory for theory’s sake.
As a speaker and facilitator, that experience gives Jess a strong instinct for what is happening in a room. She can move a conversation on, ask the question other people are avoiding, or bring humour into a serious topic without losing the point.
Whether the brief calls for a high-energy host, an experienced facilitator or a keynote speaker who leaves people thinking and laughing, Jess creates inclusive spaces where people feel able to participate.

Straight-talking. Inclusive. Never over-rehearsed.
Jess does not arrive with a generic speech and force the audience around it. She works from the purpose of the event, the people in the room and the conversation the organiser wants to create.
Her talks span leadership, attracting and retaining talent, resilience, presentation skills, purpose-led communications, authentic storytelling, media and messaging and women’s leadership. Current speaker topics also include From Learning to Performance: Closing the Gap, Perform Without Breaking: Mental Toughness, Leadership That People Want to Follow and Inclusive Leadership.
